Summit Disaster Recovery Services
Summit provides disaster recovery services to our clients. As credit unions enhance the services provided to members, the requirement to provide those services in the event of a disaster also increases. Summit stands ready to assist to recover our clients from a disaster with a wide variety of options and services. We offer an exclusive level of support, knowledge and experience for the Spectrum operating environment.

Service Offerings
Summit offers cost-effective disaster recovery services by allowing clients to choose programs from three basic categories.

Service Level
  • DR Premium Service – Designed for clients requiring sophisticated test scenarios
  • DR Full Service – Full access to Hot Site, DR services staff, and an annual exercise
  • DR Support Service – Full access to DR services staff
  • DR Secondary Site – Secondary access to the Summit Hot Site

Connectivity Choices

  • Dialup LAN – Access to Front and Back Office using POTS phone lines
  • ISDN LAN – Expanded bandwidth using one or more ISDN phone lines
  • T1 – AT&T frame relay switching or alternate PVCs
  • VPN – Virtual Private Network using the Internet and Cisco or CheckPoint hardware
  • Dedicated Equipment – Leased rack in DR Services for client circuit and router

Options

  • Audio Response – Support for Summit or third party audio response
  • Windows Servers – WinServers for testing/recovery any Windows applications
  • Credit Bureau Interface – Summit NetCredit or modem/telamon interface
  • Online Vendor – POTS lines, and ISDN lines to support vendor connectivity
  • EFunds/COOP/FSCC – ATM and shared branch recovery
  • CloneLog Software – Real-time critical logs copied on any Windows appliance
  • Weekend Testing – One or more test days scheduled on a weekend
